About me
I am primarily a Sound Engineer with experience working across technical departments such as lighting, stage management and Audio Visual. I pride myself in remaining calm in stressful situations and being a clear communicator. I enjoy working with sound in unconventional spaces, approaching each challenge with a logical mindset and ensuring the comfort of performers on stage.Over the last three years I have been working at Ardingly College, supporting the staff to pass on professional production values through the co-curricular performances, and providing students with an experience of professional theatre. Recently I have taken to working as a freelance technician full-time. I have experience working with acts of a range of sizes from a four piece band to 70 piece orchestra, and working with casts from 10 to 30 in both plays and musicals.
My passion for Sound and technical work is driven by the eclectic venues and spaces that I work in and the people I encounter. I enjoy the challenge of working with different artists with a range of styles, and thrive in pushing myself to support the performers the best I possibly can on stage with the right balance that communicates their work the way they want it.
