About me
As an SFX make up and prosthetics artist I have been involved in the creation and application of gelatine, silicone and latex prosthetics and 'gore' make up, such as scars, wounds, bruises and blood. I also make my own sculpts, moulds and appliances.Working as a props artist has included clay and fibreglass sculpture, foam and latex casting of appliances and painting and dressing of said pieces.
I have done several life casts with alginate and plaster and created moulds with fibreglass, silicone and resin.
I have worked as a junior technician on several films and under the mentorship of an established SFX artist, but I am now currently building my skill set and portfolio by taking on projects in my own right.
My most recent work has put me as the department lead, which has been an exciting opportunity to develop ideas and designs, work out the logistics, planning and organising of things on and off set and organise and work with large amounts of people.

Many thanks.
Theatre professional:
By trade I am a self-employed jeweller. I am now pursuing a career working within the film industry as a make-up, props and prosthetics artist, whilst also branching into digital art and SFX/VFX. I own several motorcycles, enjoy bike rallies in muddy fields and listening to bands, riding down twisty roads and watching movies! My favourite artist is Luis Royo. I go to the gym a bit, try to learn pigeon Italian and I also fancy having a go at making clothes...in leather!!
Additional skills:
I have worked on films, commercials, trailers and live events, both on set and in the design workshop. As an MUA and prosthetics artist I have been involved in the creation and application of gelatine, silicone and latex prosthetics and 'gore' make up, such as scars, wounds, bruises and blood. I also make my own sculpts, moulds and appliances. Props have included clay and fibreglass sculpture, foam and latex casting of appliances and painting and dressing of said pieces. I have done several life casts with alginate and plaster and created moulds with fibreglass, silicone and resin. My VFX work utilises 3Ds Max, Photoshop and Flash and my jewellery skills include design, hand piercing of metals, wax making, acid etching, soldering and polishing.
