About me
I was born and raised in Ashton Under Lyne, Manchester, and whilst still at Secondary school I developed an ambition to be involved in the creative process of films.From this I choose my career as a Camera Operator.
This was mainly due to the amount of films I watched as a child as they inspired me a great deal. i got my highest grade in Media Studies at school.
From this II then decided to expand my knowledge of media by doing a BTEC in MEDIA (MOVING IMAGE) at Hyde Clarendon Sixth Form where I gained a MERIT, MERIT DISTINCTION.
After this I felt that I still didn't have enough "hands on" experience so i decided to do a FILM AND TELEVISION PRODUCTION course at Edge Hill University. Where i gained a 2:1 in Film & TV production. I now work for PROCAM TV where i have gained the knowledge of most broadcast cameras and formats. (PMW-500, PMW-200, CANON C-300, CANON 5D, CANON XF305, SONY EX3, SONY FS-700, PANASONIC GH-3, PANASONIC AF101)
