About me
A Script Editor with a track record working on some of the best loved British television programmes, including ITV’s 'Coronation Street' and BBC One’s 'Casualty', as well as international co-productions, including HBO’s 'His Dark Materials' and TNT’s 'Will'. A deep understanding of the craft of writing and working with storytellers demonstrates an infectious enthusiasm for TV and SVOD drama which I aim to use across development and production.Career Highlights
- Undertaken a mentorship with Channel 4, DANC and House Productions in Script Development
- Script Editor on over 50 hours of Continuing Drama, including 'Coronation Street', 'Casualty' and 'River City'
- Reported on new writing as a Scout for BBC Writersroom and Script Reader for BBC Studios’ Writer’s Academy
- Redesigned the spec script submission systems for 'Casualty' and 'River City'
- Undertaken the BBC Script Editing Course developing abilities in working with writers and communicating notes
- Implemented an archive system for River City from scratch creating biographical histories for over 20 characters
- My biggest creative achievement was gaining funding for a 15 episode online soap, leading a team of over 25
