About me
I am beginning to pursue my passion of a career in costume having recently graduated from from the Arts University Bournemouth with a BA (Hons) Costume with Performance Design degree. Although my specialism lies within cut and construction I have had various costume experience from theatre to film. I am a hard working competent maker and enjoy all the problem solving involved in creating costumes including pattern drafting and various construction techniques. I pride myself on being an efficient worker, constructing to a high level of finish and accuracy alongside productivity. Working on professional and AUB productions both in construction, tech weeks and running wardrobe, I have a broad knowledge of the requirements of costumes and their durability, plus the processes involved in producing and running a show. I have experience in costume maintenance from various positions including employment in an alteration shop and backstage working both in theatre and film.
