About me
I am an audio engineer, production manager and AV technician with a BA(hons) in Music Production, a diverse skillset and extensive experience.
Having worked with a wide range of clients across a multitude of venues and events, my experience speaks for itself. From award-winning 250 capacity Spiegeltents to internationally broadcast 20,000 cap Arena shows.
I’ve managed over 70 technicians in 27 venues with the largest festival company at Edinburgh Fringe, Assembly Festival and was a production manager for Universal Music with KidzBop, which not only meant being on top of my game organisationally, but also having to manage the Kidz and their parents.
I have worked in many different countries and always enjoy the opportunity travel and challenge myself both professionally and personally.
I am well rounded and have excellent knowledge of all things AV. Sound, Lighting, PowerPoint, Video Switching, LED Wall and Production Management are some key strengths and I am a quick learner who never panics under pressure.
This is just a brief overview. Please check 'additional skills' for a more in-depth look at my experience in Live Audio.
Additional skills:
In-depth, up-to-date practical and theoretical knowledge of professional live and studio software and equipment and its operation, including but not limited to; QLab, LX Desks & Systems, Digital & Analogue mixers, Speakers, Amplifiers, Loudspeaker Management, Radio Mic Systems and many different DAWs.
Professional expertise in practical operation of a number of different sound desks, including but not limited to; Allen & Heath, Behringer, DiGiCo, MIDAS, Yamaha and many more. I have been lucky enough to work on the cutting edge of immersive audio technology, and have been FOH Audio Engineer in some of the UKs largest venues such as: o2 Arena, ICS ExCel Center, MEN Arena, Liverpool Echo Arena and The SSE Arena, Wembley.
Extremely confident with leading teams and managing staff as well as working efficiently in high-pressure environments and to tight deadlines. I have experience touring internationally and love the opportunity to travel and enjoy new and varied work environments.
Excellent grasp of social media such as Twitter, Facebook, SoundCloud as well as experience with HTML, PHP, WordPress, Photoshop, XML files, FTP servers, front and back-end web design and most office and business programs
