About me
www.garyclarkedop.comAfter a Masters Degree in Photography from The Royal College of Art, i worked as a freelance photographer shooting advertising and editorial work and exhibited my work in galleries such as The Photographer’s Gallery London, The Tramway Glasgow and The Arcola in Lisbon.
My passion for film always informed my photography and i went on to study Cinematography at The National Film & Television School in Beaconsfield. I have been a DoP for over 15 years working on a variety of documentaries, dramas, commercials and some indie features many of which have been fortunate enough to win awards including the feature 37 Uses for a Dead Sheep directed by Ben Hopkins (The Nine Lives of Tomas Katz, Simon Magus).
More recently i was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Photography in a drama or drama series for Gangland Undercover and have finished shooting Barbarians’ Rising for October Films and The History Channel.
