About me

My name is Gus Blaise Mills. I’m an actor and writer from South London. Since graduating from drama school I have been pursuing acting full-time, but my original interest (and my true love to this day) is screenwriting. With regard to personal self-improvement, writing has been my main focus since I was seventeen. I’ve written several feature-length scripts now and a number of shorts, but was reluctant to share my work until recently. Fortunately, the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, however I remain focused on improving in any way I can. My stories are incredibly varied but I naturally lean towards human dramas centered around young people, mental health, identity and the family system.

I work part-time as a Script Reader MUBI and I have worked in the offices of international companies such as Working Title and Paramount. One day I hope to direct my own work, and to develop a group of friends and associates to collaborate with on a regular basis. At this moment in my career my main focus is in building connections, ideally with filmmakers who share the same vision.
