About me

I am a mature student, currently in my second year studying Stage Management at Rose Bruford College, a decision i made through studying at Clean Break, a women's theatre company which uses theatre for social change.
Over the years i have been involved in setting up theatrical spaces at festivals for which I have a naturally creative flair and this is a talent I love to use as Assistant Stage Manager for prop making and set dressing.
I work well under pressure and thrive in chaos, being calm and grounded as well as organised and well prepared which is particularly useful for the Deputy Stage Manager role. As well as cueing shows I have also operated sound and lighting, having also built workspaces in Q Lab for sound.
Stage Management encompasses roles which support a production on both a practical and personal level. I love working in a role which gives a view of the bigger picture, provides insights into all elements of a production and provides a schedule in which every day is different.
I am excited by productions and companies that have social value, either as a tool for education and/or training, or through the stories they tell or the audiences they reach. I am also interested in roles that demand high levels of research and/or use my creative skills for prop making and set dressing.
I enjoy physical theatre, art installations and space specific work.
I have an enthusiastic, open and willing attitude and am looking for opportunities to learn and gain experience in the industry.

Basic scenic arts skills such as woodwork, painting effect techniques, prop sourcing / making and tricks of the trade.
Good level at Microsoft Office.
