About me
Ever since I could put pen to paper I've been creative. I concentrated on art and design throughout school (not for employment, just as a hobby) and went to Camberwell college of arts where I recieved a few royal certificates for drawing, sculpting and model making. I never really fixed on a career in art as I didn't want to lose my hobby.I later joined Games workshop as a model painter and scenery maker (got a few awards for most creative and most inspiring. I have an eye for fine detail in general (photography helps) and love making something out of nothing. I prefer watching "behind the scenes" over actually watching films and have always (secretly) wanted to work in film and TV art, to the point were I've written, directed and edited my own machinima.
I was given the opportunity to assist the art director for "woman in black" but at the time I'd just started working with autistic children and felt as though they needed me so passed on the chance.
Recently I was a chippy's mate on a CBBC production and joined the standby props team. Not only did I enjoy every aspect but the rest of the crew assumed that I had been doing props for years and the director told me I need to change my career as I could have a great one in art. I recieved a call a few days later to work on a Sky one comedy as lead and it went amazingly well.
So now I'm here and hoping to continue making great looking productions and building a successful career.
