About me
Hi thereMy name is James Hill and I recently stumbled across your vacancy for a Runner on a-p-a.net.
I started considering Editing as a full-time vocation around about ten years ago after studying the French film 'La Haine' in an A2 Film course. Something about the delicate mix of both Camera and Post effects made me completely enamoured with the idea of visual storytelling and I have been addicted to the problem-solving complexity of Post-Production ever since.
I went on to study all elements of Post in a course at Ravensbourne College, a well-renowned University that is responsible for the career of many a modern-day creative. It was here I learnt to branch out into other areas of Post such as Audio and Colour and I have always been obsessed with trying to cover all bases as an Editor and as such have worked in different roles of Post on many projects. More commonly I have cut my teeth on small freelance projects whereby I would be doing everything from digitising and cutting to grading, mixing and finalising.
