About me
I have recently graduated from the Production and Technical Arts course at LAMDA, where stage management was the main focus of my training. Since then I have worked as a freelance Stage Manager on various productions in London.I have always had a significant interest in musicals and new writing; I know this is the type of theatre I want to make. Therefore opportunities to work on productions, within these genres, would be undeniably suited to me and would allow me to grow and develop as a practitioner in an environment identical to the one I aim to keep working in.
My training has been exclusively vocational and through this I have been able to gain experience working independently within my role, acting in all stage management capacities.
I’m an organised person and very detail oriented, driven to do my job to the best of my ability. I have stage managed large scale shows which have required extensive organisation and planning in order to be performed, especially with the added health and safety concern of the pandemic. I have a quick reaction time and I’m efficient in solving problems, whilst also being self – motivated and passionate about the work I do.
I’m a good communicator and enjoy managing and working with a team, whilst also working with both the company and the creative team to realise a vision. Throughout my training I have been able to manage my own team whilst also being part of a team under someone else’s leadership, which has allowed enabled me to continuously improve my communication skills. This has also pushed me to learn how to adapt to new working styles and thrive in different circumstances.
