About me

I label myself as a clothing maker because I believe the lines between costume and fashion are blurred. I aim to make alternative, extravagant clothing using costume techniques. This makes them hard wearing, ensuring longevity and value for money.

While studying costume construction at The Arts University, Bournemouth I learned advanced sewing techniques from industry professionals who had worked in The West End and for couture houses.

After graduating with honours I was contracted as costume assistant by stage and screen companies in the UK and Europe.

Established in 2014, LLC has enabled me to work freelance with a number of theatres and production companies across the UK. I have also been creating garments for a range of clients from my studio in Birmingham.
