About me
Lia Soldado ( Valencia - Spain, 1990) based in London.I like to create, to experiment, get out of my comfort zone and use all my experiences, everything I know and what I am to create something new and fresh, not be closed to other realities and possibilities within the field of creativity. I want to reinvent realities and reinvent myself, to dream new possible imaginaries, to say something in the form of an image that doesn't leave you impassive.
I don't pretend that you like it, I pretend that you feel it, leave something inside you, that you take it and you feel part of you, that it moves you in any way.
I grow up and open new communication possibilities, I transgress the limits to reach places where I can't reach otherwise. I use photography as a tool and kick, experiment with the video and discover to what extent I can reach people with a live installation, that is what I'm currently doing, that is now my process in constant evolution.
As preferences, I'm really interested in the topics of social criticism, I speak of gender and identity, of the processes that are codified in it, inspire me in women not as a tool of beauty for art, but as a weapon to create changes. I like to stop and fixed on the details, the textures, sensitivity is my channel.
