About me
I have been working in various Stage Management roles in amateur theatre and school productions since I was twelve, and I graduated from the BA Theatre Practice: Stage Management course at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2015 before working for five years in various Stage Management, Producing and Wardrobe roles. I completed an MA in Producing for Television and Film from the Met Film School in December 2020.I have varied experience in different types of theatre and screen work.
I have worked as an Assistant Stage Manager, Deputy Stage Manager, Stage Manger and Company Stage Manager, sometimes doing more than one role in the same production, and have enjoyed the different challenges and responsibilites of each job.
Working as a Producer has been an important role for me as I have always wanted to help people bring their ideas to life, going with them from their initial idea to the project actually being realised.
Working in Wardrobe is something that have been passionate about, both the sewing sewing and costume sides, for a large part of my life. A lot of the Stage Management roles I have worked on included assisting with costume design, making and maintenance, as well as dressing. I also sat in on Costume classes at drama school, so was able to get a greater understanding of the role and have taken that forward into my work.
I love to be involved in the development of new work. I like to be challenged and try new things. I always want to feel that I am working on something that matters and speaks to people.
