About me
As a mature student I graduated in 2017 with a First in Journalism & Media, undertaking modules which included, Short Film and Documentary Making, as well as modules on Radio, Practical Journalism, Media Production and Media Culture. In 2018 I completed my MA in Filmmaking: Concept to Screen with a distinction..I have been an extra on both TV and in film as well as being a location marshal on a large Hollywood production, and spent 8 weeks as an assistant to the executive producers and directors on an HBO series aired in 2019.
I believe the experiences I have gained have been invaluable in helping me produce my own short films and I am looking to build on these experiences, particularly in the field of production and direction.
I am currently working as a PA and Admin for a TV & Film Catering company based in Wales, with a staff base of 55. My role includes, but is not restricted to, corresponding with production crews during pre-production, filming, and post production, which has included 5 major productions running concurrently'; writing and distributing weekly menu's to production; dealing with all staff enquiries, paperwork, invoices and expenses; drafting policy documents and forms; data entry; enrolling new staff; and social media management.
