About me
My name is Lluc Mestre, a camera assistant/trainee born and raised in Barcelona and currently based in London. Always passionate about photography, I discovered my passion for motion picture filming my friends at the skatepark. This led me to take a one year Foundation in ESCAC, that made me realize that this would become my way of life. I moved to London to continue my film studies at Central Film School, where I graduated and specialized in cinematography. I recently enrolled at the National Film and Televison School, where I'm currently being part of their 1 year Camera Assisting course. Since I started my film studies, I’ve been professionally working in different film sets and playing different camera department roles, including focus pulling, clapper loading or camera Traineeing.My two main objectives in any project are to make the cinematographer’s life easier when it comes to creating his concept visually, and to always maintain the best positive energy and attitude towards each project and the crew.
