About me
I am a screenwriter and filmmaker based in south London. I graduated from University of Reading in 2016 with a BA in English Literature and Film and Theatre.I co-wrote short film Vanilla Sunday (2018) directed by Nicole Westpfel, starring Issy Van Randwyck (Downton Abbey), Dylan Lowe and Samuel Atkins. Vanillla Sunday premiered on The Short Film Show on SKY in March 2018. It won Best Student Film at the International Short Film Show Awards and Nottingham International Microfilm Festival.
Other accolades for Vanilla Sunday include: Winner of Honourable Mention at Women’s Only Entertainment Film Festival. Official Selection: Thunderdance Festival, Festival de Cinema Escolar de Alvorada, FROSTBITE International Indie Fest, Catharsis International Film Festival 2018, Belgium. Finalist at TMFF - The Monthly Film Festival.
I self-published a poetry anthology entitled New Remedies for Old Tragedies in 2017.
I have been an official photographer for the London Iranian Film Festival, and have worked with the BBC. I have interned at Rogue productions and Fulwell 73, (The Late Show with James Corden, Bros: After the Screaming Stops).
I have worked in China and the United States.
