About me
I am a qualified make-up artist to the individual and the entertainment industries. I have experience in film, music video, fashion, catwalk, theatre, promotions, makeovers, weddings and portfolios.Styles include dramatic, straight, character, high fashion, avant garde, period, you name it! I also provide special effects make-up for film and photography. Furthermore I am qualified in media hair, spray tanning and Hollywood Lashes, so there's no excuse not to be beautiful boys and girls. I am a MACPro member and a beauty specialist too.
I am based in Yorkshire and available to travel, I am insured, have a fully mobile professional kit and can provide further make-up artists if required.
Having graduated from one if the most dynamic Makeup Academy's which has a national and global reputation of being one of the most intensive make up courses in the UK. The course provided me with invaluable experience of integrating make-up theory and practice with practical on set experience.
One of my favourite projects was working on the set of 'Sherlock Holmes' produced by Guy Richie, where I was required to do character make up for dockers and shipbuilders. I also have on set experience on high calibre television productions including A Touch of Frost, Emmerdale, Blue Murder and The Royal Today.
From my on set experience I have learnt to work under the most pressured environments without ever compromising creativity and precision. My strengths lie in the ability to hit the ground running, creativity and flair, meticulous attention to detail and team work.
From working in the uk, to building my portfolio in LA with some amazing and talented photographers, i am allways open to new challenges , experiences, wherever that may take me.
