About me
Matthew Smith is a Camera Operator/Camera Assistant living in South-East London.Predominantly working on Music Promos and Commercials since relocating from Newcastle, Matthew is always striving to produce stylish yet poignant images and work.
Experience on a range of shoots with a spectrum of budgets means that he is as confident working on sports commercials for high end clients as he is on a corporate shoot with a stripped back crew.
Due to this diversity in productions, his knowledge of camera systems spans from RED and Alexa through to DSLRs and the Sony EX Cam range.
When not behind the camera or in the department at all, Matthew writes and directs low budget Shorts and Music Promos. This has been invaluable in rounding his creative side with a strong sense of resourcefulness when trying to create original ideas on a limited scale.
