About me
My fascination with the arts has spanned my life, I began to refine my interest down to the medium of which I was most fond of - Film. Studying A-Level film I developed a theoretical understanding of the art form.Following from this I finished college and went travelling to Australia - a revelatory trip which has had a perennially resonant effect on my personality. Meeting a plethora of people made me further appreciate the diversity of the world and how all people contribute and enrich the human experience.
Returning from Australia I went into labour work which engraved in me a pragmatic and hands on approach to work. After a period of ambivalence and uncertainty I began working for a casting agency and got a first hand insight into the film and television industry. I was previously unaware of the accessibility of the industry and became fascinated a the multi-faceted nature of the industry. Populated with professionals from all fields I had never witnessed an industry so rich in character.
I enrolled at The Manchester Film School and began practically studying film & television production which contrasted my previous experience in the theoretical side of the industry. I refined my job route and hope to become an assistant director via working as a runner and building up experience and contacts.
