About me
I'm a freelance Sound Recordist based in the North West who is passionate about all elements of production and post-sound. I'm a fully trained and qualified recorder and mixer with over 4 years of industry experience. Working in American Television, Commercial and Feature films. I have provided my skills to ensure my clients are given professional-quality sound. I've had the chance to work all over the UK and even overseas, traveling is one of the perks I love most about the job.I have always loved sound and it was through my time at university that I latched on to this and honed my skills. During my course, I spent my spare time researching sound. I came to understand the principles and applications of sound equipment as well as pursuing and achieving an Avid Pro tools Certificate for post sound. Ultimately I decided to purchase my own equipment and begin freelancing, securing my first gig in the September following my graduation.
In my spare time I love to watch films and TV, read long and gripping novels and play TTRPG. My favourite film is Bad Lieutenant (1992); my favourite show is 000 (2019); my favourite author is Neal Stephenson; and my favourite TTRPG is The World of Darkness. Looking back I'm extremely happy with how things turned out and feel honoured to have been given the opportunity to be where I am today. I can enrich your project with my love and aptitude to sound. I'm ready for anything that comes my way.
