About me
I am a versatile and experienced costume professional based in North London. I have a 1st class degree in costume design and am a qualified costume maker with an excellent knowledge of costume history and a strong eye for detail. My skills as a maker include, pattern cutting, hand and machine sewing, embroidery, dying, breaking down and millinery.I have worked backstage in various roles including head of wardrobe, swing dresser, principal dresser, wardrobe maintenance and wigs, hair and makeup. I have an excellent working knowledge of cleaning and caring for costumes, and can carry out fittings, alterations and repairs.
I have experience working in HETV as a crowd daily, and as a designer and assistant on several music videos. I have experience pulling costumes and carrying out fittings at Angels and supporting designers and supervisors in their duties.
I am accustomed to working in high pressure environments and problem solving. I have a calm, professional demeanour and work well as part of a team. I am organised, motivated and possess good managerial and
administrative skills.
