About me
PLEASE EMAIL ME DIRECTLY FOR A CV OR CALL FOR A CHAT: removed - removedNicola (usually shortened to Nico) graduated from The Northern Film School in 2015 where she gained a fascination and admiration for production design and pursued entry-level trainee roles on various films.
Only in 2019 did she finally realise her career goal of progressing with petty cash buying within set decoration departments but is more than happy to work as an art assistant with more hands-on work like prop making and sewing.
It is her goal to continue with the role of a petty cash buyer for some years until fully confident with her knowledge of sellers and hire companies across the country before progressing up the ladder.
Nico has never had a distinct career goal but simply wants to work on projects she can enjoy and feel proud to be a part of and wants every job to be a learning curve and a useful experience.
She loves and hopes to mainly work on period productions, specifically mid to late 20th century. But also sumptuous or even Dickensian styled 19th-century pieces.
In between film roles, Nicola works in theatre within props and wardrobe departments and also works as a cycle courier.

I graduated from the Northern film school in Leeds in 2015 and have so far undertaken work in TV, Film and theatre.
I specialised in production design at university and and hope to continue to develop my skills within art and props departments.
Alongside the prop side of production I also wish to further my experience in the field of costume, particularly period costume as this is a true passion of mine.
