About me
I have always loved film and always been a creative individual. I studied film production at Norwich University of the Arts for 3 years and graduated with a 1st in 2018. I mainly specialised in Producing, however also have cinematography, editing, writing, directing and sound recording credits. Over the 3 years I was able to develop my organisational skills, my understanding of bringing an idea to life and how to liaise and communicate with actors, agents, location owners and crew.In that time I was also lucky enough to get experience on BFI feature films, low-budget shorts, TV series and an advert as both a Runner and Location Marshall. I have worked for production companies such as Amazon, Netflix, ITV, Film 4 and the BBC. I have attached my C.V which gives details of all of my roles. At the bottom there is also a link to my graduation film The Age of Strange which I wrote, directed and produced with a small crew. It later won Best Comedy at The RTS Awards in the student sector.
I would absolutely love to find a role within the Locations department on a film or tv production and think this role would be a great way to network, learn the technicals about production as its crucial for the locations department to have solid understanding of what each department needs.I think the driving involved and attention to detail would also massively benefit me.
I am a very hardworking, reliable person with an open minded and friendly attitude. With little guidance, I am efficient enough to work independently or as part of a team and am a very strong team player. I am confident with customer care and adapting to new tasks as I am a quick learner and am very willing to try new things. During previous work experience I have quickly adapted to new surroundings and people confidently, responsibly managed small tasks independently, frequently asked questions to further my learning and experience and effectively contributed as part of a large team.
I am currently based in Essex but am planning to relocate to London at the start of 2020.
