About me
A Career synopsisI Began by filming documentaries and music promos. My first documentary`Rave` was RTS nominated. I then moved onto to work on short films for festivals and regional television as well as national news and documentaries such as Panorama and Ch4s Blue Light Zone.
I Started in television drama by camera operating on the Bill and went on to film and then light up to 100 episodes.
Since then I have filmed the multi Bafta winning The Cops, the hit comedy series Peter Kays Pheonix Nights as well as 4 series of the award winning childrens series The Queens Nose.
I filmed and did second unit lighting on series 2 and 3 of the acclaimed No Angels
I filmed and did 2nd unit lighting on the first and second series of Torchwood and lit and shot the final series of Byker Grove.
I have lit and shot two low Budget feature films the first of which The Tapes had a limited cinema release.
I have been 2nd Unit DOP on the first two series of the award winning children`s show Wolfblood and main DOP on the Wolfblood secret episode.
I was lead DOP on the daytime drama `The Coroner` and have been the DOP on CBBC`s `The Dumping Ground` for the past three years
I am a regular DOP on Casualty and Holby City and a recent short film I shot was accepted into the LA Short film festival.
I have recently been nominated for a Royal Television Society award for my work on The Dumping Ground.
I own 2 full Blackmagic cinema 4k cameras with a GO PRO Hero 7 along with many lights and some grip equipment.
I have a commercial drone licence with permissions to fly and BBC insurance and own a Dji Mavic 2 pro drone
