About me

I'm a video editor with over a decade of experience working across broadcast television, documentary, news, feature film, and online corporate and commercial content. I'm experienced with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Avid and Davinci Resolve.

Early in my career I trained in a number of departments at MPC as a runner. After becoming freelance, I worked on 6 seasons of Channel 4's Made in Chelsea, and simultaneously held a regular position at ITN Productions as a senior member of the post-production support team during their expansion from 4 to 60 in-house edit suites. Over this time I gained extensive technical knowledge of post-production workflows and infrastructure, as well as experience generating deliverables for all UK terrestrial channels, plus Discovery, Netflix and other streaming services.

Other notable freelance positions include Avid support at Warner Bros, editing broadcast shows and music videos at Sony Entertainment, news segments for the BBC, lead assistant for a Bravo reality show, lead assistant for ITV's Dancing On Ice, and working on-site on an NBC feature film in the Scottish highlands. Some of my commercial clients that I cut content for include Google, Virgin, Audi, Volkswagen, Ernst & Young, Samsung and Lego.

As a neurodivergent person I excel at problem-solving and troubleshooting - having freelanced in so many post houses, I've frequently identified bottlenecks from legacy workflows and implemented more efficient solutions.

Since 2020, I've been editing commercial and branded content remotely in a full-time senior role and relocated from the UK to Canada. I'm open to all types of work but specifically seeking projects that align with my values, which could be promoting sustainable companies and technologies, working with arts organisations or on documentaries covering social issues. I'm also keen to make a push into more scripted work.
