About me

All my life is deeply influenced by Art - in all its forms. I have been studying CINEMA AND TV in my home town Sofia. I have a bachelor degree from NBU (New Bulgarian University) - major video editing, but I have always been interested in the special effects in post-production. No matter how well it has been shot, a film is born during the editing process. It recreates life in movement, enlarges it, enhances it, distills it. For me, it’s far closer to the miraculous creation of life than a painting or music or even literature. It’s not just an art form; it’s actually a new form of life, with its own rhythms, cadences, perspectives and transparencies. I enjoy telling stories with moving images, to exaggerate and decorate them in order to keep the viewer's interest longer. This is the magic of cinematography - it is no coincidence that Cinema is called the 8th Wonder of the World - it is a beautiful Lie that is telling the Truth.
