About me
Hi there! My name is Tom Nangle, I'm a UK filmmaker and have currently finished my MA studies in Filmmaking at Central Film School in London; where I'm based.A little bit about me. I am currently working as a freelance producer after finishing my Master's degree at the Central film School in London, where I specialised in production. Before this, I started my career in the camera department, but as the years went by, I found myself taking on a multitude of different roles throughout production, from lighting, to sound, post-production and pre-production. Because of this, I found that I had a great insight into what every department needed in order to thrive, and what steps were needed to make a project come to life.
Since moving to London I have produced a number of shorts, three of which are now award-winning. As well as this, I have successfully fundraised for all of these projects, and a few others, through Kickstarter, Indigogo and external funding grants. I have also worked as a Post-Production coordinator on a number of these projects as well, so not only can I offer support in the early stages and through production, but also when it comes to all things post-production as well.
One of the biggest things I love about filmmaking is collaboration, working in many departments over the years I've been lucky to meet some amazing people that have helped me grow, and that I can now rely on. I love working closely with my team and using each others energy and passion to create new ideas and to make the project the best it can be.
