I have recently graduated from the BA(Hons) Performance Costume course at Edinburgh College of Art, Since then I have worked in a variety of costumes roles which has allowed me to reinforce and developed my skills. I would be able to put my knowledge and experience to immediate use in any costume role.
Im looking for exciting opportunities in Film, TV and Theatre to build on my experience but also giving me a chance to get involved.
My course and experience covers a mixture of Design and Construction therefore I have an extensive knowledge of both drafting and reading patterns. I also have experience of hand sewing and using domestic and industrial machines. I have experience of working within costume departments doing maintenance, alterations, cleaning, dressing and continuity.
I know the importance of a costume department running smoothly and efficiently and my focus, creative flair and positive attitude would bring a positive dynamic to any team
