I volunteered at my local drama school and taught ages fro 5-8 musical theatre. I helped them prepare for their shows and would be a crew member backstage and do things such as props and help the kids backstage. I have done dance competitions at the South Lanarkshire Dance Competition with my school dance competition team. At these we have done hip hop, commercial and contemporary. I have also done several dance showcases with the school. I am also a South Lanarkshire dance leader and have received a national 5 qualification in this. At this I explored different styles of dance and we made up 2 dances which had a bit of house, hip hop, contemporary, commercial and jazz and showcased them at the South Lanarkshire Dance competition. I met new people at this course and both learned and taught dance.

    About me

I have always been a confident and creative person and have always had a passion for performing from a young age. At the age of 8 I began to perform in local theatre shows and played roles such as nibs the lost boy in Peter Pan, The white rabbit in Alice in wonderland, the protagonist in camp rock N roll and many more. Doing these shows helped put all my creative and confidence skills to use and taught me other skills as well. I decided I wanted to do bigger things with performing so changed from my local drama club to PQA Glasgow. In PQA Glasgow I did small things such as a showcase at the beginning of the year and I also did Legally Blonde Jr the musical in Langside College. When doing Legally Blonde I received a London Trinity College qualification in grade 2 musical theatre with a distinction pass. My next show was PQA Glasgows Alice in wonderland at the Edinburgh Fringe where I played the mouse/five and was dance captain. I loved taking the characters I had and making them my own and I loved putting my leadership skills to use whilst being dance captain. I also performed at the SSE Hydro in show named Elf with actors Kym Marsh and Shaun Williamson. I played an ensemble role of grumpy santa however took the small part and made it as big as I could. We are now preparing to perform in Londons West End in September 2021 where I will be playing the protagonist role in a PQA written show named Troubles a Brewin. Not only do I have musical theatre experience but I also have experience in film and TV. At my drama academy we have made several short films and I've done both roles of cast and crew. In April 2019 Pqa held a competition and I was the only Scottish finialist that made it to the top 10 and got to go to London and have a masterclass with BBC presenter Ben Hunte and was able to interview 2 child actors who had been on shows such as Doctor who and Holby City. My life revolves around performing and have always dreamed to do it as a career.
