About me
Hi, my name is Isobel/ Izzie, and ever since I could walk, I've had a passion for performing to an audience.I started performing formally when I was only 2, learning to dance with The Tutu Club near Southampton. School has since given me many more opportunities to showcase my singing, dancing and acting skills, learned and developed at my theatre school each Saturday, in front of different audiences, and over time this has led to varied and more challenging parts.
In 2019 I played Carrie in the production of Goodnight Mr Tom at the Plaza Theatre, Romsey. To have the opportunity to work with adults in a heart-warming drama has been brilliant, and I'm very proud of the independent reviews I have received. Also in 2019, following a competitive audition process, I gained the part of Lost Boy in the Mayflower Theatre's Engage production of Peter Pan. The opportunity to be a part of a major production at such a famous theatre was amazing!
Another great achievement has been my starring role in our school production of The Jungle Book at the Berry Theatre which I landed after competitive auditions. Lots of people have commented that I truly was the star of the show. I was also a member of Romsey Youth Children’s Choir and performed regularly at Romsey Abbey and other local venues. I also play the flute.
Additional skills:
In August 2018 I gained my LAMDA Acting Grade 1 with Distinction (96%), in 2019 I gained my LAMDA Acting Grade 2 with Distinction (89%) and in 2021 I gained my Grade 3 with a Distinction also. I am currently working towards my Grade 4. I also play the flute.
Additional information:
As well as my passion for performing arts, I play hockey, netball and badminton
