About me
Since attending Jigsaw Arts in Stevenage from the ago of around 6, I have developed a real passion for the performing arts. I love to sing, dance and act and am keen to pursue a career in these fields. I am a confident, bubbly little girl who is always wanting to give 100% to whatever I do.I got my first big role in 2018 after doing one of my first ever auditions for a large production. I was given the role of Eponine in the musical Les Misérables at the Queens Theatre, London for eight months.
Shortly after I was cast for the lead role of Olive Hoover for the London Musical Theatre show, Little Miss Sunshine. This has a London run for a few months, then toured across the UK.
My role in Little Miss Sunshine was to act, sing and dance - sometimes all three at once! This was a truly amazing experience, meeting and learning from some high profile actors and actresses. To play a lead role in London and to tour around the UK was a great experience - being away from home was an experience in itself, teaching me to become more independent.
Additional skills:
In 2019 I was accepted into the Tring School for Performing Arts in Hertfordshire where I currently also board. I have extra piano and singing lessons each week and have achieved good grades for my age. During my time here I am singing, dancing and acting on a daily basis, gaining the appropriate grades along the way.
Additional information:
I am quite small for my age (my younger brother is two years younger but the same height!) and often get mistaken for being much younger than my actual age (I'm 14). I feel this really benefits me when it comes to castings as I can play someone much younger while easily being able to learn scripts, follow direction etc.
After performing in Little Miss Sunshine the Musical both in London and in the UK tour, this has given me immense confidence with anything I do. I face everything head on and always give 100%
I realised after auditioning for parts in foreign languages, I am able to learn scripts in any language pretty easily. I once had to learn a song in Arabic - complete with an accent. I have listed languages above that I am either learning at school, have a fondness for, or can perform in the accent.
