• About me

  I attend Birmingham Ormiston Academy, where I train daily in dance and am working towards a BTEC Level 2 Tech Award in dance as well as a Dance Leadership Level 2 Award. Alongside regular dance classes, I attend weekly musical theatre classes at Wing It Academy, where we practice songs from a variety of musicals as well as extensive acting work which is performed in a termly show. I have appeared in 3 of the ‘Nativity’ films under Debbie Isitt, in which I have acted as an extra as well as being a featured dancer. I love to perform on stage, and have been a junior chorus member in the prestigious Belgrade Theatre pantomime for the 2017/18 season in ‘Cinderella’ (I was the pumpkin!) and the 2018/19 season in ‘Sleeping Beauty’. This involved a lot of acting in various character roles (ie courtiers/sprites etc.) as well as a lot of dancing and singing. I perform in annual dance shows with my dance school, as well as attending Sophisticate West End Camp during half terms where we work on and perform various scripts, dances and songs.

  In my spare time, I love to read and listen to music. At school, I enjoy creative writing and English literature, as I love writing stories and reading different texts. I am currently learning both French and Spanish, which I am able to speak with some fluency and use in general conversation.

  As part of my dance school, I am a student teacher; this entails working and interacting with the younger students at the school, a role that I adore as I have the opportunity to be creative, work with many different people and gain important skills such as confidence, leadership and flexibility, to name a few.
