This is a new institute, I was in the first graduating year of the full-time programme in the summer of 2011. The programme focuses solely on performance and training in the three disciplines. Lead by current actors in the industry, including Kenneth Avery-Clark, Mark Goldthorp and Alice Fearn to mention a few names, the course prepares its students how to deliver in the auditions andfor the level of performance and professionalism required to succeed in professional musical theatre. Acting training also prepares its students for straight acting and television work as other means of gaining performing experience and adding 'kudos' to our names for climbing up in the industry. The course also includes a week of training in New York, which is a terrific experience and a good opportunity to audition for a director on Broadway and receive constructive feedback afterwards. There is also the opportunity to have mock auditions with currents professionals in the West End, such as Christopher Key (casting director of Les Miserables), Matthew Brind (music director of Legally Blonde) and Dianne Pilkington (former 'Glinda' in Wicked). This college has the potential to develop a lot of budding actors, no-one has come away feeling they didn't meet the targets set out at the beginning of the course
