The award winning Ape Theatre Company has performed to well over a million people. It was set up by Matt Kane in 1988 to produce new plays by young writers, and to give young performers and directors a medium in which to produce their work. APE actors have in the past, and continue to feature in a number of high profile theatre, television and film productions.
