The Black Cat Theatre company was set up in 1985 and operates from a small village on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Founder member Diana Bayliss works as a solo puppeteer/performer, often in collaboration with other artists. The company provides puppet and shadow theatre performances, workshops, residencies and training in schools, theatres and community venues throughout the UK.
