Doris Kirch formed “Blue Angel Films Limited” in 2006 in London, UK as sole shareholder and director. The production company is also based in Berlin, Germany, and has representatives in New York and Los Angeles. Before Doris Kirch worked for many years in the film and television industry in Paris, New York, Los Angeles and Munich and worked for 10 years as Senior Vice President Acquisitions and Co-Productions for ProSieben Sat1 Television in Berlin where she produced and co-produced over 45 productions with partners in France, Italy, Denmark, Austria, Canada, the United States and Australia and was responsible for output deals among others with Columbia and Paramount Pictures. Among her productions are “The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles”, a series which she co-produced with George Lucas and Lucas Film and was filmed on locations worldwide, “The Count of Monte Christo” (with Gerard Depardieu), one of many co-productions with TF1 in France and Mediaset in Italy, and several feature films like for example the German box office hit “Sun Alley” by Leander Hausmann.

“Blue Angel Films” produces and co-produces international English-language films for theatrical release. The genres are varied and go from thriller, fantasy, action-adventure and drama to romantic comedy. The upcoming productions are to be filmed in Europe, Canada and the US. Blue Angel Films’ co-production partners are English, French, Italian and American production companies and distributors.
