Bourne Rep is currently Bournemouth's only professional theatre company. It was created in 2004 by Victoria Semple with backing from the Prince's Trust. We are a small company of established, professional performers.

Our aim is to bring quality theatre and entertainment to Bournemouth. We produce several plays a year. Some of our credits include; Killing London, The Turn of the Screw, The Twits, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, The Witches, Betrayal, When the Wind Blows and most recently A Lie of the Mind. We also run a theatre school for young people who staged Jesus Christ Superstar at the Barrington Theatre in Ferndown.

We are proud to be a starting a monthly 'pub theatre' night on March 29th at the Winchester Pub in Bournemouth. This will be the first regular play night in Bournemouth and we are extremely excited to have the opportunity to offer an ever wider program of entertainment in an intimate environment. As yet, we have not got a fixed base so we have used various venues depending on each production and its individual needs. In the past you may have seen us at Bournemouth's International Centre, Centre Stage, The Russell Coates Museum, Twisters Comedy Club, The Hub in Verwood and the Lighthouse Poole.

We are very much a company for the Bournemouth community. We welcome feedback and always want to hear of plays you would like to see. We offer a varied program so there is something for everyone, this is why our previous shows have all been very different. In the next year we hope expand by finding new directors, new playwrights and fresh talent.
