We are a new theatre ensemble based in the centre of Clapham, looking to give writers, actors and directors a safe and constructive space in which to develop new writing and new pieces of theatre.
Supported by the Bread and Roses Pub, a venue that prides itself on supporting emerging artists in all fields, our aim is to give new writers the support they need to get their work performed.
The idea that sparked the BRTC first came about during a conversation between two friends in a pub. With a lot of hard work and time commitment from all of the five founders that 'pipe dream' of an idea is now a tangible and exciting project.
We aim to provide a platform for playwrights to showcase and develop their work. With the wealth of talent that London has to offer we want to channel the abilities of actors, directors and creative's, to put on writing workshops that will deliver just that.
