More recently the company has ‘broken away’ from the University, established a new name and has doubled its membership. This year we returned to the Fringe with The Real Inspector Hound and Black Comedy performing at Venue 45, and Jugglers ( A new writing piece by Jimmy Powell), performing at the Radisson on the Mile. The company also organised a number of fundraising events for the Fringe with events such as Shakespeare on the Street, and Cabaret performances happening across Bristol, as well as attending Priddy Folk Festival.
Most recently Breakout have performed a murder mystery party for charity Clic Sargeant and a number of company members are currently writing short scripts for a show at Trinity in March in aid of Help for Heroes. The show will be based on the stories of soldiers and their families and will be auditioned in late november.
