Canterbury Players Amateur Dramatic Society, originated in Davyhulme, Greater Manchester, in 1949 and is affiliated to Trafford Arts Association and the National Operatic And Drama Association.

We started out as a parent teacher group, presenting plays on stage in the hall at Canterbury Road Junior School in Davyhulme, and occasionally at other locations in the area for other events such as play readings.

Since March 2007 our home has been Davyhulme (Wesley) Methodist Church, which is situated in Brook Road, Flixton, where we present comedies, straight dramas, farces, thrillers and murder mysteries, on stage in the main hall. Performances normally run for 4 nights ending on a Saturday. If you would like to see one then re-visit this website regularly to see what's on. In addition, we hold social events and play readings at various other venues.
