As a new producer and writer/composer of musical theatre, our aim is to assist and promote new musical talent in the form of aspiring performers, and production and creative individuals. Therefore, the cast, creative and production team for the first production of Zipporah consisted mainly of talented students, recent graduates and young, new professionals. Our initial hope for the process of Zipporah was to gain confirmation of our belief that the practice of working on a new musical with a host of new and youthful talent is a valuable experience not only for ourselves, as we seek a successful development into the musical theatre industry, but also to the career of those who we hire. In an aim to use Zipporah as a platform (our first full-length musical following the short musical A Time to Pull), we seek to continue to write, compose and produce work that inspires and offers opportunities to musical theatre individuals in a competitive environment.
