The Rep Company was set up to train a company of actors to produce work of the highest professional standard, providing a platform for its members to hone their skills and display their talents. Directors, teachers and practitioners are invited and engaged to facilitate.

Its members are made up of a combination of graduates from our own Access course, or from the advance / professional provision in the Drama Dance & Speech department’s programme, and experienced practitioners that wish to further their experience with us. We hold annual auditions in order to find, encourage and support new talent.

We have awarded associate status to a number of actors who have produced an excellent body of work with the company.

All company members are eligible for the three productions staged a year and are invited if appropriate to professional castings that are occasionally held here on site at the Lit.
