ClassAct UK is a reality TV talent hunt competition and audition process organised by Ruke Amata Media (RAM) UK Ltd, a UK registered Media and Film Production company. The aim is to discover talented and budding actors (young and old).
The competition is organised annually throughout the UK (and intended for Ireland), and the very successful 2011 edition was the first. The winners of the maiden edition starred and played key and lead roles in the first feature film, "The Past Came Calling", produced by Ruke Amata Media UK Ltd.
Actors and actresses from the ClassAct competition formed the bulk of the cast of "The Past Came Calling", a movie, which also featured well known and acclaimed celebrity actors and actresses of 'Nollywood', like Chioma Chukwukah Akpota and John Dumelo. "The Past Came Calling" also featured other acts and seasoned actors and actresses from the UK, Greece and other parts of the world, which represented the diversity of the UK.
ClassAct UK discovers and launches talented actors/actresses into the world of acting, as well as, offer life-long skills and career opportunities to fresh or budding stars and would-be actors in the world of acting, drama and cinematography or film making.
ClassAct UK offers these budding actors and future stars opportunities and a platform to showcase their talents, develop their skills and build confidence required for the world of acting and cinematography.
At ClassAct UK, future stars are discovered. Raw talents are refined and equipped with knowledge and the know-how of acting. We also impart necessary skills and experience needed to further an enterprising career in acting.
We reach out to a diverse community and people of multi-ethnic backgrounds, especially the Black and Minority ethnic (BME) Community.
