Collingwood started out as an educational consultancy set up by John Simes, an ex-head teacher. It was focused on bringing new thinking to many areas of education. His experience, knowledge, and values still inspire everything we do today.

Collingwood is now run by Chris Simes and Lindsay Richards, two theatre in education and training specialists. We have worked in this field for over thirty years combined. Our background fuses theatre, teaching, and business theory into a unique approach to learning. Our goal is always to enable learning using creative, interactive, and inspirational techniques. Theatre, role play and simulation lie at the heart of this. They allow both young people and adult learners to observe, explore, and re-model social and work place behaviours to create better outcomes. All in a safe and motivational environment.
