CUBA PICTURES was set up in 2008 by Nick Marston and Tally Garner at Curtis Brown. Credits to date are the Channel 4 film BOY A, starring Andrew Garfield, directed by John Crowley and written by Mark O’Rowe, which won 5 BAFTAs and sold to The Weinstein Company for international theatric release, VERNON GOD LITTLE on stage with the Young Vic, directed by Rufus Norris, and the feature film, BROKEN, written by Mark O’Rowe, directed by Rufus Norris and starring Tim Roth, Rory Kinnear and Cillian Murphy. The film premiered at Cannes Film Festival and has picked up numerous awards across Europe, including the prize for Best British Independent Film at the British Independent Film Awards. CUBA is now developing a slate of other projects for film and television with Dixie Linder as Head of Film and Television. Cuba’s most recently announced project is the TV adaptation of Susanna Clark’s novel, JONATHAN STRANGE & MR NORRELL.
