The film focuses on the criminal gangs in India who kidnap young children, amputate their limbs and turn them into beggars.

Premise: A wealthy Indian woman witnesses the kidnapping of a child. She manages to rescue him and later adopts him. He goes on to become a doctor.

The film highlights the fact that, given the chance, a slum child who has talent can be helped to transform his life.

This film was shot on location in India in 2008.

We are in the process of shooting three new short films entitled '40th Wedding Anniversary' which deals with the state of the institution of marriage. 'Expelled' which is about what happens to a boy who is expelled from school. 'The Tumble Dryer Affair' looks at the trials and tribulations of Old Age.
