Founded in Glasgow in 1994 by former BBC producer Nick Low, Demus Productions started in radio production making on average 150 programmes each year for BBC, including the hugely popular Janice Forsyth Show for BBC Radio Scotland and high profile documentary series for BBC Radio 2 on the likes of Travis, Herb Alpert, and Jackie Wilson.

In the late 1990’s, we started a television arm, making documentaries for BBC Scotland on the History of the RNLI and profiles of characters like singer Alex Harvey and world champion cyclist Graeme Obree, and a "fly-on-wall" documentary on a Scottish Sunday League Football team for Scottish and Grampian Television. We’ve also completed two series of "Proud Parents" for Channel 4, looking at the relationship between celebrities and their parents.

Through our longstanding relationship with BBC news presenter Jackie Bird, and award winning television director and former head of News and Sport at Radio Clyde, Russell Walker, we launched Demus Media in 2007, looking to bring these television values and standards to the Corporate world. We offer high quality videos for DVD and website presentations for companies in the UK. Clients have included Vets-Now, Graham Technology, Music In Hospitals, NHS, and distance learning college ICS.
