On graduating from Murray Edwards College, Cambridge in 2004 with a BA in Law, Diana worked for four years within the corporate field, producing video, web and interactive content for the British Red Cross, BBCi, Channel 4Learniing and a range of large Pharma companies such as Pfizer and Glaxo Smith Kline.
During this time she started also producing and directing her own drama shorts and this led her to work for a time as a freelance Production Manager, Location Manager and Production Designer on a variety of short term projects. For a longer term she worked as the Digital Producer on the RSPCA's main websites, running all aspects of their web projects including scripting and producing content, interactive games and managing the creation of mini-sites and additions to their existing sites. Supplementing these projects with further education, she took short courses at the National Television and Film School and the Central Film School London.
In 2009, She was offered a half-scholarship to attend a one year masters at the Central Film School, focusing on Directing Techniques and working with actors. During this course she was able to shoot an exercise every week as well as three films and one personal project. The course also enabled her to travel to New York to visit the prominent acting schools there (Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, Atlantic (Mamet) and The Actors Studio (Meisner)) to gain a better understanding of how the method style of acting is taught. Through doing the techniques herself, she was able to see how she could communicate better with actors.
On recently graduating from this school She was able to secure work on various short projects as Production Manager, Script Supervisor and Casting Director including casting for upcoming TV Documentary-Drama ''The Real Bronson' by First Fire Films for the Crime and Investigation Channel.
